How It Works

Welcome to Liberty First Notary! Here we describe how we work together to successfully certify or verify your documents.

First, schedule an appointment using our convenient scheduling system on this site. You will receive notification of a confirmed day and time for you and the the notary to meet.

Next, your notary will drive out to your location on the confirmed date and time, making it convenient for you. No rush hour traffic to deal with! We all know how the DMV can be with that, so let your notary deal with it.

Have your required identification, and the document(s) you want notarized ready for the desired service requested. You and the notary will go through a quick process that will include your signature, and the notary’s signature and stamp. Voila, you are done!

Please note that other services offered that do not require a notary public signature and seal may be mentioned below as well.

Scheduling

If you are ready to have your documents notarized, go to the scheduling page and request a date and time to meet. Please schedule an appointment with enough time for confirming availability and relaying that back to you to meet the deadlines you have for utilizing your notarized document(s). Business hours for appointments occur Monday through Friday 6:30pm-9:00pm, and Saturdays 10:00am-3:00pm. These times are subject to change at anytime and without notice. However, reasonable effort will be made to accommodate circumstances between the client and notary, as well as posting notices on this site.

The following holidays are observed in which Liberty First Notary is not operating: Christmas Eve and Day, Easter, New Years Eve and Day, and the Fourth of July.

Cancellations

If for some reason your appointment needs to be cancelled, please do so no less than two hours from your appointment. If a second cancellation is made by the same client requiring a notary act, then a 20% deposit of the estimated invoice, or 100% of the travel charge will be requested before the visit.

If the notary cancels the appointment, then any deposits will be refunded back to the payment method used. Should the notary become 20 minutes late to the meeting, the client will receive a 20% discount towards their invoice.
